Volcano

This photograph features a thatched building in the village of Khwai, which lies outside the Moremi Game Reserve in Northern Botswana. The village is home to a small population of BaBukakhwe or River Bushmen, who are part of the Basarwa or San (the indigenous hunter-gatherer people of Southern Africa) and have thrived in the Okavango for centuries. Today Khwai runs on eco-tourism. The conical thatched roof with small cloud hovering behind is, perhaps, reminiscent of a volcano.
