Tuk Tuk

The three-wheeled rickshaw or tuk-tuk is the iconic mode of transport in the Indian subcontinent, and especially so in the congested streets of Sri Lanka’s bustling capital, Colombo. This photograph features a yellow tuk-tuk taking a rest at the Galle Face on a breezy summer’s day. Sri Lanka is a wonderful place, with friendly people, and it is hard to comprehend the senseless loss of life caused by the terrorist bombings on Easter Sunday 2019.
