Finding Neverland

The Reinebringen is a 448m peak which towers over the islets and bays of Moskenesøya, in the southern part of the Lofoten archipelago in northern Norway. Up here, at 2am in the land of the midnight sun, the view is breathtakingly beautiful and evokes thoughts of J M Barrie’s Neverland, where Peter Pan roamed free. In August 2019, Nepalese Sherpa completed the construction of 1566 stone stairs, thereby democratising the iconic vista of the Lofoten Islands – though it remains a thigh-bursting climb.
