The Red Church (etc.)
On the north side of England’s South West Coast Path (a 630-mile route meandering around Devon and Cornwall) stands a most curious rock formation: The Blackchurch Rock. It is found on Mouthmill Beach, between Hartland and Clovelly, and can only be accessed at low tide. There are few, if any, triangled double sea arches around, and even fewer which stand at 18m (60ft). These five images show this magnificent geological feature in different lighting conditions: Red to black to pink to yellow to blue - it’s not just a one-trick pony.
