California & Stockton

This photograph was taken in between a break in traffic at the junction of California Street and Stockton Street in San Francisco. The view stretches down California Street eastwards towards Oakland Bay, where the Bay Bridge peeps above the tower blocks. Prints of this view are found in tourist shops across the city, but occasionally with the Bay Bridge photoshopped orange to replicate the more famous Golden Gate Bridge, which lies over to the north-west out of sight.
